Frequently Asked Questions

When can I register my child?

As we are a private school, the registration period is open all year round.

What do I have to do to register my child?

Contact the school either by telephone or email and make an appointment to get information about our education project, installations and services.

What documents are needed to register?

Early Years: photocopy of the DNI or NIE card, including those of the parents or carers of the student, as well as the family book where the child is featured. Also, an up-to-date vaccinations certificate and two passport photographs. 

Primary, Secondary: photocopy of the DNI or NIE card and the family book, if you have one (Spanish-born children). Also, the reports and assessment records from the previous school. 

Sixth Form: photocopy of the DNI card or passport, including those of the student's parents or carers. Also, the family book, certificate for the transfer from another college and qualifications from the previous school. For those applying to join in the first year of Sixth Form, a photocopy of the file which shows the appropriate level of Secondary Education has been attained. Finally, vaccinations and medical certificates, and two up-to-date passport photographs.

What is the school day?

08:00 – 17:00

How does the curriculum compare with that taught in Britain?

Pupils follow the guidelines as laid out in the English national curriculum and extension programmes are encouraged where necessary and appropriate.

Does the school offer transport?

Yes. We offer a bus service from various local points. Please consult the school secretary for details.

What meals are available in school and where are the pupils catered for?

All our students eat a high quality three-course hot lunch here at the school. All food is freshly prepared on site.

Does the school provide Spanish lessons?

Yes, as well as the English national curriculum, we deliver the three compulsory subjects which are legally required by the Spanish curriculum, i.e. Lengua, Sociales and Maths. For students of different nationalities, Spanish is taught as a foreign language and at different levels.

Are instrumental lessons available?

Tuition is available for a number of musical instruments. Please ask us for details.

Are there extra-curricular activities?

There is a wide choice of extracurricular activities available for students of nursery age upwards. These vary year on year, but typically include various sports and performing arts.
